Join the Maine Lobstermen's Association (MLA) on a trip to Seafood Expo North America, also known as the Boston Seafood Show!

The Maine Lobstermen’s Association with support from the Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative, Hannaford Supermarkets  and Machias Saving Bank will host a free bus to bring MLA members and others who want to learn more about Maine lobster to the Seafood Expo North America, in Boston.  The goal of the trip is to educate the industry of the stature of Maine lobster and to show the level of competition Maine’s iconic marine product faces in the global marketplace.

This one-day, free trip offers participants a comfy coach ride with snacks to Boston, departing from Bangor, Augusta, Portland and Kennebunk. You'll receive free admission to the trade show and the Maine Seafood Reception where you'll re-connect with other representatives from Maine’s lobster industry.

This is the 5th year the MLA has hosted this trip. It has received warm appreciation from all attendees and has many annual riders. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to see how your Maine lobster is marketed and taste some spectacular seafood! Register Today!

Bus leaves from:

Bangor at 7:30 am from the Park and Ride at the corner of Odlin Rd and 395
Augusta: 8:45 am from the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive (back of the parking lot)
Portland: 9:30 am from the Marginal Way Park and Ride (across from Golds Gym – the parking lot on the left “Park and Ride”
Kennebunk: 10:15 from the Park and Ride (off Rt 35 across from Spurling Training Center)

Arrive in Boston about noon/12:30 pm

Attend the Maine Seafood Reception from 5:00 to 6:45 at the Exchange Conference Center, 212 Northern Ave, Boston (walking distance)

• Return to bus 6:45,
• Depart Boston 7 pm –
• arrive in Kennebunk at 8:30,
• Portland 9:15,
• Augusta at 10:15
• and the final stop in Bangor estimated 11:45 pm
