The Herring Plan Development Team will meet to:
• Discuss the 2022 management track stock assessment of Atlantic herring,
• Develop recommendations to the Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) for
overfishing limits (OFLs) and acceptable biological catches (ABCs) for fishing years
2023-2025,
• Outline additional relevant information to include in the PDT’s report to the SSC,
• Draft a work plan for preparing specifications for Atlantic herring and river herring/shad
catch caps, and
• Discuss other business, as necessary.
